We have two new additions to our N2 Board of Directors, Jennifer Li and Daniela M. Bianco. Jennifer, a member of the N2 Quality Committee, is a Quality Manager from Princess Margaret Cancer Centre – University Health Network. Daniela is the Manager of Research Development & Relations at Hamilton Health Sciences and the N2 Clinical Trials Education and Awareness (CTEA) Committee Chair. We are excited to welcome them to the N2 Board of Directors in their new roles!
Jennifer Li (Quality Manager, Cancer Clinical Research Unit, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre – University Health Network)
Jennifer is a Quality Manager at the Cancer Clinical Research Unit (CCRU), Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. Jennifer has over 13 years of experience in oncology clinical research, including team management and over 8 years of specialization in Quality Assurance. In her QA role, Jennifer has supported research teams in numerous audits and inspections, developed a system of tracking quality metrics across the Oncology Program, and spearheaded several quality initiatives. She received her Honours Bachelor of Science Degree from York University, as well as a post-graduate certificate in Clinical Research from Humber College.
Jennifer is a member of the N2 Quality Committee and SOP Committee, and is currently the President-Elect of the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA).
Daniela M. Bianco (Manager, Research Development & Relations, Hamilton Health Sciences)
Daniela Bianco is the Manager of Research Development and Relations at Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS), whose employment history extends over 30 years of service. She has over 20 years experience as a research administration professional with progressive leadership and management knowledge in an academic hospital and university acumen.
Her responsibilities at HHS include overseeing, managing and leading the development, implementation and administration of a wide range of applied research strategic initiatives, outreach activities, funding and evaluation measurement programs including associated priority investments, publications and related internal/external reporting requirements and news/media events to promote and raise the profile of the research enterprise at HHS.
Over the course of her career, Daniela has helped a vast number of investigators (from novice to senior levels) advance their careers and areas of research. She has acquired a diversified skillset of expertise that she attributes to her own genuine interest and thirst to learn, but in large part attributes her success to senior leaders and mentors she worked in partnership with throughout her career. Over the past 15+ years, Daniela has focused on executive management development and team building working collaboratively with senior leadership members, as well as various internal and external organizations and stakeholders mainly through her long-standing membership and volunteer leadership roles within national professional associations within CARA and N2 Canada.
She is an advocate and ambassador of continuous education and learning having graduated from McMaster University’s Business Administration Program in 2018. Daniela is also an athlete at heart and passionate about living a health and fitness lifestyle who enjoys staying active through outdoor adventures, travel, sports, weight training and nutrition.
