Timmins and District Hospital

Timmins and District Hospital (TADH), founded in 1994, is a fully accredited referral and teaching hospital serving Timmins and the broader Cochrane, Temiskaming, Sudbury, and Algoma districts. The 134-bed facility offers a comprehensive range of services—including emergency care, critical care, maternity and newborn units, pediatric and mental health services, long-term care, oncology, dialysis, diagnostic imaging, and surgical programs. TADH is also designated as the Centre of Excellence for Rural Health and Education, with strong integration in physician recruitment initiatives and community-based networks.
