The Centre de recherche – Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne operates within the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de la Montérégie-Centre which offers healthcare and social services to over 380 000 people with a team of 8 900 employees and 700 doctors. The research centre has 5 axis :
– Chronic diseases and rare diseases (affiliated with the CIUSSS du Saguenay – Lac-St-Jean)
– Health organization and policies
– Mental health, addictions and risk behaviours
– Work rehabilitation and health
– Clinical research
Both the CISSS de la Montérégie-Centre and the CIUSSS du Saguenay – Lac-St-Jean are affiliated with the Université de Sherbrooke.
