CHU Sainte-Justine is the largest mother and child centre in Canada and one of the four most important pediatric centres in North America. Our teams carry out their work in an environment that is both highly innovative and respectful of individuals. Affiliated with the Université de Montréal, CHU Sainte-Justine is the largest pediatric teaching centre in Quebec and amongst the top in Canada. The CHU Sainte-Justine Research Centre is composed of more than 200 researchers. We are recognized for our leadership, particularly in the areas of brain disease, musculoskeletal diseases and movement science, fetomaternal and neonatal disorders, metabolic health, viral diseases, immune disorders, cancer, and for the advancement of health.

Le Centre hospitalier universitaire Sainte-Justine est le plus grand centre mère-enfant au Canada et l’un des quatre plus importants centres pédiatriques en Amérique. Nos équipes œuvrent dans un milieu à la fois hautement innovant et respectueux des personnes. Associé à l’Université de Montréal, le CHU Sainte-Justine est de loin le plus grand centre de formation en pédiatrie au Québec et un chef de file au Canada. Le Centre de recherche du CHU Sainte-Justine compte plus de 200 chercheurs. Son leadership est reconnu, particulièrement dans les domaines des maladies du cerveau, des maladies musculosquelettiques et sciences du mouvement, des pathologies foeto-maternelles et néonatales, de la santé métabolique, des maladies virales, immunitaires et cancer et de l’avancement et du devenir en santé.

CISSS de Chaudiere-Appalaches Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de Chaudière-Appalaches

The CISSS de Chaudière-Appalaches serves a population of more than 400 000 people from 136 municipalities including the cities of Lévis, Saint-Georges, Sainte-Marie, Montmagny and Thetford Mines. It is comprised of nearly 100 facilities, including four hospitals and has nearly 12,000 employees and 800 physicians. In addition to providing healthcare and social services, the institution also has clinicians involved in clinical trials in the areas of cardiology, gastroenterology, oncology and neurology, as well as research in several other areas. The mission of the CISSS Chaudière-Appalaches research center is to support integrated research and the application of knowledge.

Le CISSS de Chaudière-Appalaches dessert plus de 400,000 personnes, réparties dans 136 municipalités dont les villes de Lévis, Saint-Georges, Sainte-Marie, Montmagny et Thetford Mines. Il est composé de près d’une centaine d’installations, dont quatre hôpitaux et compte 12,000 employés et 800 médecins. En plus de fournir un ensemble de services de santé et de services sociaux, l’établissement compte également des médecins impliqués dans des essais cliniques dans les domaines de la cardiologie, de la gastroentérologie, de l’oncologie et de la neurologie, de même que de la recherche dans plusieurs autres domaines. Le centre de recherche du CISSS de Chaudière-Appalaches a pour mission de soutenir la recherche intégrée et l’application des connaissances.

CISSS de la Monteregie-Centre (Charles Lemoyne)

The CISSS de la Monteregie-Centre (Charles Lemoyne) operates within the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de la Montérégie-Centre which offers healthcare and social services to over 380 000 people with a team of 8 900 employees and 700 doctors. The research centre has 5 axis :

– Chronic diseases and rare diseases (affiliated with the CIUSSS du Saguenay – Lac-St-Jean)
– Health organization and policies
– Mental health, addictions and risk behaviours
– Work rehabilitation and health
– Clinical research

Both the CISSS de la Montérégie-Centre and the CIUSSS du Saguenay – Lac-St-Jean are affiliated with the Université de Sherbrooke.
