Vancouver Island University (VIU), with roots dating back to 1936, is a public, degree-granting institution offering a wide range of university and college programs. VIU serves over 18,000 full- and part-time learners, including more than 1,100 international students from over 40 countries and over 1,000 Indigenous students.
