The Research Institute at BC Children’s Hospital conducts discovery, translational and clinical research that benefits the health of children and families. The institute is supported by BC Children’s Hospital Foundation and works in close partnership with the University of British Columbia, BC Children’s Hospital, and BC Women’s Hospital & Health Centre (agencies of the Provincial Health Services Authority).
We provide health care services to people with complex needs, including severe and persistent mental health and substance use issues, from across the province. We also lead knowledge exchange, health promotion and literacy.
