The Centre for Clinical Trial Support (CCTS) assists in the design, development and coordination of single centre, multicentre, national and international clinical trials and research projects across any therapeutic area at Sunnybrook Research Institute and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. As part of Sunnybrook’s ongoing commitment to clinical trial operations and clinical research integrity, CCTS aims to raise the standard of clinical research through study coordination, process improvements, and regulatory compliance.

Synergy MD Specialist Group is a fully accredited facility with experienced and respected physicians specializing in Respirology, Cardiology, Sleep Medicine, and Occupational Health. We are a 5000 square foot clinic equipped with 2 full pulmonary function labs, 2 cardiac exercise stress testing stations, and electrocardiography (ECG) testing. Our Certified Respiratory Educators provide respiratory education services and smoking cessation programs. We are involved in clinical research in asthma, COPD and pulmonary fibrosis. Another highlight of our clinic is the Wellness of Workers (WoW) Program which is a health surveillance study designed for trade workers who may be exposed to various health risks. It is a comprehensive program focused on early identification and intervention to mitigate or remove risk factors for chronic illness. Synergy MD Specialist Group is located in the Synergy Wellness Centre at 501 Bethel Drive in Sherwood Park, Alberta. This 75 000 square foot facility offers second to none patient care by localizing doctors, practitioners, and therapists all under one roof. This unique building integrates more than 55 health and wellness services including a large medical clinic, DynaLIFE labs, MIC X-ray, women’s wellness facilities, as well as psychologist, chiropractor, and physiotherapy offices.
