N2 committees are the heart of our work—bringing together clinical research experts to identify gaps, build tools, and share knowledge. Explore each committee below to learn how they contribute to Canada’s national research ecosystem.

Clinical Research SOP Committee

The N2 Clinical Research SOP Committee creates, updates, and supports the implementation of N2 SOPs to keep organizations compliant and inspection-ready.

Committee Chairs: Stephen Sundquist and Sassan Azad.

Education Committee

The N2 Education Committee develops online courses for people involved in funding, administering, reviewing, coordinating, or conducting health and social research.

Public Engagement Committee

The N2 REB SOP Committee develops and maintains bilingual REB SOPs that meet requirements for reviewing health sciences research and clinical trials.

Quality Committee Committee

The N2 Quality Committee helps members meet new regulatory guidelines by recommending best practices and supporting quality assurance and compliance.

Rapid Response Team

The N2 Rapid Response Team responses to regulators and funders on proposed regulatory, policy, and program changes, supported by seven rapid response members unit.

REB SOP Committee

The N2 Public Engagement Committee leads a national strategy to increase public awareness and understanding of clinical trials and clinical research too.
