Michelle Moldofsky is a highly experienced health lawyer with over 20 years of experience guiding policy, governance, and legal operations across Canada’s not‑for‑profit, healthcare, and research sectors. She founded Moldofsky Professional Corporation in 2015 to provide proactive, virtual general counsel and legal planning services for mission-driven organizations.

Before launching her firm, Michelle served as General Counsel at a major academic hospital in Toronto, where she led enterprise-wide legal strategies, developed policies, and enhanced legal department capacity.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from McGill University, an LL.B. from Queen’s University, and an LL.M. in Health Law from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University.

Michelle is passionate about embedding legal best practices within organizations, simplifying processes, and building internal capabilities. Her experience spans consent and capacity, privacy, contracts, governance, procurement, employment, and research-law compliance. A collaborative problem-solver, she supports clients in navigating complex legal challenges with clarity and strategic foresight.
