Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is one of five publicly funded regional health authorities in British Columbia. Serving over 1.25 million people across Vancouver, the Sunshine Coast, Sea to Sky, and Bella Bella areas, VCH provides a comprehensive range of healthcare services—from primary care to tertiary and quaternary treatments. It operates nine hospitals and numerous community care sites, and functions in partnership with the Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute, supporting around 900 researchers across disciplines.
