Trillium Health Partners (THP) is Ontario’s largest community-based, academically affiliated hospital network. Formed in 2011 by merging Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga Hospital, and Queensway Health Centre, THP operates three main sites in Mississauga and Western Toronto and is affiliated with the University of Toronto  . The network delivers acute, emergency, ambulatory, mental health, and chronic care to over 1.2 million residents.

A key part of THP’s research commitment is the Institute for Better Health (IBH), established in 2014 to advance applied health services and population-level innovation. IBH supports frontline-led studies, implementation science, rapid-cycle evaluation, AI-powered solutions, and community engagement—establishing THP as one of Canada’s Top 40 Research Hospitals
