Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre is a 425-bed acute care and academic health sciences centre serving a population of over 245,000 across Northwestern Ontario. Located at 980 Oliver Road in Thunder Bay, Ontario, TBRHSC operates the region’s only tertiary services—including a busy emergency department (~106,000 visits/year), cancer care, cardiac surgery, and diagnostic imaging. The centre is affiliated with Lakehead University, Confederation College, and NOSM University, supporting education and research through the Thunder Bay Regional Health Research Institute.
