RareKids‑CAN is Canada’s national pediatric rare disease clinical trials and treatment network. Funded through CIHR’s Rare Disease Research Initiative ($20M over 5 years), it’s a coalition of patient/family partners, investigators, major research institutions, sponsors, and international collaborators. Their mission: streamline trial start-up, boost trial design capacity, and enhance access to innovative therapies for children, youth, and young adults with rare diseases—from coast to coast.
