Island Health is one of five publicly funded regional health authorities in British Columbia, serving approximately 794,000 residents across Vancouver Island and adjacent coastal communities. With more than 30,000 staff, 2,000 physician partners, and 3,000 volunteers, Island Health manages a network of hospitals, community care sites, and clinics—delivering acute, primary, and residential care, alongside public health services.
