CISSS des Laurentides is the regional public health and social services authority for the Laurentides region north of Montreal, serving around 200,000 residents across roughly 22,000 km². With over 100 care locations, nearly 7,500 staff, and 580 medical professionals, the CISSS delivers full-spectrum healthcare—ranging from acute and emergency care to long-term, mental health, public health, and rehabilitation services. It is also affiliated with UQO and Université de Montréal for hospital-based research and teaching.
