CISSS de Lanaudière is the regional public health and social services authority for the Lanaudière region north of Montréal, serving approximately 500,000 residents. Formed in 2015 through the merger of regional hospitals, CLSCs, long-term care homes, youth protection centres, and rehabilitation facilities, the CISSS offers a full continuum of care—from acute and mental health to long-term, community, and public health services. It emphasizes accessibility by offering English-language services in designated facilities and collaborates with local partners to enhance population health and service integration.
