Centre de recherche du Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CRCHUM)

The Centre de recherche du Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CRCHUM) is one of Canada’s largest hospital-based research centres. Founded in 1996 through the merger of Hôtel‑Dieu, Hôpital Notre‑Dame, and Hôpital Saint‑Luc, and inaugurated in 2013 in a state-of-the-art facility, CRCHUM brings together over 1,700 staff—including 443 researchers and 420 graduate students—to conduct foundational, clinical, and population health research. The centre’s mission is to transform evidence into patient impact via integrated platforms, cutting-edge technologies, and global partnerships. CRCHUM generates more than 750 peer-reviewed publications annually and is recognized with an “exceptional” rating from the Fonds de recherche Québec – Santé.
