The Bruyère Health Research Institute (BHRI), founded as part of Bruyère Santé Ottawa and affiliated with the University of Ottawa, is a leading academic research centre dedicated to improving care for aging Canadians and vulnerable populations  . Its scientists focus on priority areas including memory care, aging-in-place, long-term care, palliative services, rehabilitation, and equitable primary care. As a WHO Collaborating Centre and host of national centres like the Ontario CLRI and Pan‑Canadian Palliative Care Research Collaborative, BHRI leads evidence-based innovation and knowledge translation through academic, government, NGO, and industry partnerships.
