BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC)

The BCCDC is the public health arm of British Columbia’s Provincial Health Services Authority, providing provincial and national leadership in disease surveillance, detection, prevention, treatment, and consultation. Located in Vancouver, it manages tuberculosis and STI clinics, oversees environmental health, acts as the centralized vaccine purchaser, and conducts public health research in collaboration with UBC and Simon Fraser University
