Founded in 1991 by a group of research nurses, the Association québécoise des infirmières et intervenants en recherche clinique (AQIIRC) is a Quebec-based professional association that supports clinical research practitioners across disciplines. Originally focused on nurses, it has since expanded to welcome all clinical research stakeholders working in hospitals, clinics, pharma, or as independent professionals. AQIIRC promotes excellence through continuous training, an annual congress, and a strong peer-support network—helping to advance clinical research quality and collaboration throughout the province.
