Jordan Warford is the Executive Director of Planning and Performance within Nova Scotia’s Department of Health and Wellness, where he leads system-wide research strategy and quality improvement initiatives across the province. He also serves as Senior Director of Research for Nova Scotia Health, where he oversees multidisciplinary research programs and contributes to the evolution of the province’s health innovation ecosystem.
Jordan holds a PhD in Pathology and an MSc in Pharmacology & Neuroscience from Dalhousie University. He also holds the Certified Health Executive (CHE) designation from the Canadian College of Health Leaders and is a Project Management Professional (PMP).
His unique blend of translational neuroscience expertise, strategic leadership, and provincial planning experience informs his contributions to strengthening Nova Scotia’s research capacity and aligning it with high-quality patient care.
