Chief Clinical Research Officer for Advancing Health and the CIHR Canadian HIV Trials Network (CTN)

Erin Cherban provides strategic leadership and oversight of national and international clinical research initiatives as the Chief Clinical Research Officer for Advancing Health and the CIHR Canadian HIV Trials Network (CTN).

She holds a Master of Science from the University of Bradford and brings more than two decades of experience in clinical research operations. Erin currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Network of Networks (N2 Canada) and is an active member of the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA), where she previously served on the Board of Directors.

Deeply involved with Advancing Health and the CTN for over a decade, Erin also held the position of Director of Clinical Research Operations at the Rick Hansen Institute. Her expertise includes clinical trial concept and protocol development, international multi-centre trial management, site monitoring and auditing, and the collaborative leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
