CHU de Québec is the largest health care center in the province of Quebec and makes the top third in Canada. It regroups a workforce of over 14,000 employees and 1,700 physicians, dentists and pharmacists. The CHU has a leadership position in many specialties like oncology, infectious diseases, diabetes, pediatric, psychiatry, ophthalmology, traumatology, rheumatology and many more. CHU de Québec is the largest health care teaching institution in the province of Québec. The Centre de Recherche of the CHU de Québec is the largest francophone research center. It regroups 550 active researchers and over 1,000 students.
