CISSS de la Côte-Nord

The Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de la Côte‑Nord (CISSS de la Côte‑Nord) is Quebec’s regional health and social services authority for the Côte‑Nord region—stretching from Tadoussac to Blanc‑Sablon, including Anticosti Island. Formed in 2015, it oversees a network of 89 facilities (hospitals, CLSCs, CHSLDs, youth services, rehabilitation centres) and serves a geographically vast area of nearly 1,300 km of coastline, staffed by around 1,000–5,000 employees. The CISSS delivers a full continuum of care—acute services, public health, mental health, addiction support, and long-term care—with a commitment to regional access, sustainability, and culturally sensitive services.
