SUMMARY:CTO Workshop: Enhancing Participants’ Experiences in Clinical Trials (Day 1)
DESCRIPTION:N2 is pleased to share an upcoming workshop hosted by Clinical Trials Ontario (CTO)\, focused on enhancing participant experiences in clinical trials. \nThis initiative began in late 2019 and led to the launch of CTO’s Participant Experience Toolkit in Fall 2020—an evolving resource designed to support more inclusive\, respectful\, and patient-centered trial practices. \nCTO is now developing a new section of the toolkit focused on decentralized and hybrid clinical trials\, informed by research conducted with their College of Lived Experience. This research—centered on patient and public perspectives—was published in Therapeutic Innovation & Regulatory Science (2024) and is available here. \nTo support the co-creation of this new section\, CTO is inviting input from members of the clinical trials community through two upcoming workshops. \n Workshop Dates \nThe same workshop will be offered twice to accommodate different schedules:\n• June 10\, 2025 | 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. ET\n• June 11\, 2025 | 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. ET \nAfter registering\, participants will receive an individual attendance link. CTO will also share the agenda and brief prep materials (15–20 minutes) about one week before the event. \n⸻ \nWe encourage N2 members and the broader research community to take part in this important conversation.
