2019 N2 Annual Conference Overview!
February 5th and 6th marked N2’s 12th annual conference. Again this year we gathered in Toronto at Vantages Venues on King street to listen to speakers, network and discuss issues important to Canada’s clinical research community. This summary provides highlights from this year’s meeting as well as an overview of attendees and feedback on the meeting. As in previous years it wouldn’t be the N2 annual meeting without some weather issues on the last day. The Board hopes those who attended found the meeting to be valuable and that those who couldn’t be with us find this newsletter is useful and inspires you to join us next year.

Clinical Trials BC recently completed their analysis of results from the Canadian Clinical Research Participation Survey, which aimed to engage and learn from 1,000 patients and study volunteers about their experience with clinical trials. N2 members assisted with recruiting survey respondents at their institutions and research sites. Clinical Trials BC and N2 are inviting clinical researchers and their teams to hear an overview of the relevant findings and identify areas for improvement in study design and research site operations to reduce barriers to research participation and improve the experience for study participants in a 1-hour free webinar.
